Material description:
ERGITAN® 3.7165 MG meets both ASTM F136 and ISO 5832-3 which are international standards for titanium-aluminum-vanadium alloy for medical implants. The material is characterized by tight tolerances and fine surface finish, excellent roundness and straightness. The strength properties exceeds those achievable with unalloyed titanium grades. ERGITAN® (produced by Zapp) is stocked up to 12 mm dia, for larger dimensions Ti6Al4V ELI applies from carefully selected sources.
