EN 1.4501 is a stainless acid-resistant super duplex steel with high strength and very good corrosion properties and is used, among others, in aggressive chloride-containing environments, where compared to EN 1.4410 (F53 / UNS S32750) it contains additives of Tungsten (W) and Copper (Cu). The material can be delivered NORSOK approved and in accordance with NACE MR0175, MR0103. The material is normally supplied in solution annealed condition.
