Brass bars for machining and forging

ALMAG S.p.A. has on 12 April 2021 signed a Nordic co-operation agreement with B.B.S. Steel & Metals.

B.B.S Stål & Metaller, based in Halmstad, will be responsible for the Nordic market within ALMAG's product area concerning brass profiles such as round bars and hollow bolts for machining and hot pressing.

ALMAG is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of brass profiles since 1946 and is part of the HUG S.p.A. with a production area of 100,000 m² with high automation to ensure consistent quality. ALMAG produces over 30 different brass alloys and hot-pressed profiles are manufactured in the dimension range 10 - 110 mm. In cold-drawn condition diameters of 7 - 65 mm are delivered, hexagon 11 - 42 mm. Square on request. For hollow bars, OD 18 - 68 mm applies, with a minimum wall thickness of 2.5 mm.
